Carafe – Fibonacci spiral

Carafe for water with FIBONACCI SPIRAL

The dynamically opening curve resembles a shell. It is drawn according to the Fibonacci sequence, known in mathematics as the infinite sequence of natural numbers. It's made up of the so-called golden ratio, the harmonic ratio of lengths. This spiral is found in the arrangement of the centres of flowers, in the growth of snail shells or in the eddies of water. The symbol takes us back to nature.

The carafe is hand-blown into a wooden mould made of soda-glass.

The cap is made of beech wood.
